What We Cover / Travel insurance claims
Travel insurance claims
Had a policy for the trip? We claim on it for you, beside an airline claim or on its own. A medical bill abroad, a trip canceled for illness, a bag that never came: if the policy covers it, we file the claim, chase the insurer and send you the money, on the same no win, no fee terms as an airline claim.

What we claim under a policy
- Trip delay
- Meals and hotel
- Baggage delay or loss
- Missed connections
- Trip cancellation or interruption
- Medical expenses abroad
What we need from you
- The insurer's name
- The policy number
- Where the policy came from: bought yourself, with a credit card, added when you booked, or through an employer
- A copy of the policy: the certificate or the schedule
- Receipts and paperwork for what you are claiming: the bills, the airline's notice, the baggage report
How it works
- Tell us about the policy when you start the claim: the insurer, the number, where it came from, and a copy of it.
- We file the claim with the insurer and chase it until it is answered.
- You get paid: what the insurer pays, minus the fee.
Good to know
- No airline claim? That is fine. A policy claim stands on its own, and you start it the same way: pick "Something else on the trip" when we ask what went wrong.
- Have both? Start with the flight. We ask about the policy on the way and claim on both.
- The fee is the same: 30% of what is recovered, and nothing if nothing is recovered.
